Singer Sunmi has spoken out about rumors of a fallout with JYP head Park Jin-Young.
A preview video of Sunmi's appearance was posted at the end of the YouTube content 'Salon Drip 2' released on the 2nd.
In the video that day, Jang Doyoun asked Sunmi, "If a masterpiece comes out after a huge breakup, is it worth experiencing at least once?" To this, Sunmi responded, "I think I need to date first, seriously," drawing laughter. She then added, "I can't stand dating; it's too much to handle...".
Meanwhile, Sunmi expressed her frustration, saying, "I really want to clarify this" regarding Park Jin-Young's mention of her dating style.
Earlier, Park Jin-Young appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' and mentioned, "When Sunmi was young, she lost her father early and took care of her two younger siblings as the eldest daughter. It seemed that her emotions were directed toward men. I know that man, and the reason she was drawn to him was her maternal instincts. I advised her against it because I thought she would give everything away. But once she got hooked, they continued to see each other. So, for a while, they didn't meet."
In response, Sunmi actively clarified, saying, "The only thing I really want to clarify is that one thing." When Jang Doyoun responded, "Oh, it's that kind of person," Sunmi emphasized again, "That was my very first relationship; that was it. Just once."
Additionally, when asked about her ideal type, Sunmi said, "I have a certain face shape that I'm attracted to," drawing a square V-line with her hand. To this, Jang Doyoun suddenly asked, "JYP?" Sunmi rolled her eyes in disbelief and proactively denied, saying, "No, no."
