The new special unit of SEVENTEEN, S.Coups and Mingyu, will release their mini album on the 29th.
HYBE (Chairman Bang Si-hyuk) music group label Pledis Entertainment unveiled the trailer for the mini album 'HYPE VIBES' titled 'JOIN OUR VIBE' at midnight on the 3rd.
This video, filmed in Los Angeles, captures S.Coups and Mingyu's daily lives as they enjoy every moment freely in their own way. After a fierce party, the two wake up looking disheveled and fill the day with a new event. The charm of these 'cool' individuals, portrayed without pretense, combined with the exotic background, is a visual delight.
The beach party scene that appears at the end of the video undoubtedly captures attention. S.Coups and Mingyu dance joyfully to the rhythm among a diverse crowd with various tastes and appearances. Their lifestyle and carefree aura, which allow them to blend comfortably with anyone, naturally come through in the trailer. S.Coups, who leisurely enjoys the 'now', and energetic Mingyu are two captivating points that should not be missed.
The unique 3D characters 'Kute' and 'Mante' also pique curiosity. They are set up as extraterrestrial beings visiting Earth to fill themselves with energy through music. As they first appear faintly in the trailer, they become clearer as they mingle with people and gain vitality. The album title 'HYPE VIBES' represents a hot and free atmosphere where anyone can enjoy and connect. SEVENTEEN's group activities will continue. They will kick off their world tour 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]' with a grand performance at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on the 13th and 14th. They will then continue the tour in Hong Kong at Kai Tak Stadium on the 27th and 28th, followed by five cities in North America in October and four major domes in Japan from November to December. In line with these global endeavors, they were recently nominated for 'Best Group' at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
