Comedian Yoon Jung-soo will marry his 12-year-younger fiancée Won Ja-hyun in November.
On Dec. 2, Yoon Jung-soo mentioned the wedding news on KBS Cool FM's "Yoon Jung-soo and Nam Chang-hee's Mister Radio," stating he heard Nam Chang-hee say, "He is currently ranked 1st in entertainment. Articles are featuring him prominently."
In response, Yoon Jung-soo said, "I will officially reveal my wife on 'Lovers of Joseon'. You cannot judge a person solely by looks and voice. I ask for good comments."
He also noted, "Only my wife's back was shown in the marriage registration content, and there were a thousand negative comments. I only registered alone with the documents prepared by my wife the day before, but there were many misunderstandings." He added, "Preparing for the wedding is causing me headaches because of the 'expense' related to the studio, dress, and makeup. Korea's wedding culture needs to change. While top stars might have some flexibility, the reality is that even meal costs aren't being sponsored," sharing his honest feelings.
Yoon Jung-soo and Won Ja-hyun will tie the knot on Nov. 30 at a hotel in Gangnam, Seoul. The wedding will be held privately with only family and close friends invited. In this regard, a representative from Yoon Jung-soo's side officially confirmed to OSEN, "It's correct that Yoon Jung-soo will marry at the end of November."
Previously, Yoon Jung-soo drew attention by revealing on air that he would marry a 12-year-younger Pilates instructor, and the couple has already completed their marriage registration, making them legally husband and wife. They are expected to showcase their married life through TV Chosun's program 'Lovers of Joseon'. That day, it was revealed that Yoon Jung-soo's fiancée is former reporter Won Ja-hyun, attracting public interest.
Born in 1983, Won Ja-hyun has worked in various roles such as a KBS reporter, Weather News Global Weather Jockey, and traffic caster, and in 2010, she served as a sports reporter for MBC. Notably, she gained attention during the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, being referred to as the "Goddess of Guangzhou," and later transitioned to a fitness model, winning two titles in the 2015 Muscle Mania World Championship qualifiers. Since 2017, she has been active as a Pilates instructor.
Ahead of the wedding, Yoon Jung-soo is preparing for a new start, and his love story with Won Ja-hyun is capturing public attention.
