Kkokkomu is a program where three "storytellers" convey what they have learned individually to their respective "story friends" in the most everyday spaces, one-on-one. After completing its pilot in 2020, it has met viewers through Season 1 and Season 2, and since being regularly scheduled from October 2021, it has continued to meet with viewers every Thursday night. After being regularly scheduled, it recorded a peak viewership rating of 6.4% (14th episode) and has received much love.
This is not Wendy's first appearance on Kkokkomu. She previously appeared in the episode of Kkokkomu that aired in July 2024, collaborating with her story friends. At that time, Wendy appeared as a story friend of Jang Doyoun, providing entertaining reactions while listening to the shocking reality of Korea's first-generation drug king and the intense stories of the investigators who worked hard to capture him.
As Wendy returns to Kkokkomu as a story friend after 1 year and 2 months of experience, attention is drawn to what story friends she will collaborate with and what stories she will share, as well as what reactions she will show.
Meanwhile, Wendy will release her third mini-album, "Cerulean Verge," on the 10th. This marks her first new release after signing an exclusive contract with her new agency, Ascend, approximately 1 year and 6 months after the release of her second mini-album, "Wish You Hell," in March of last year.
Wendy will also hold her first solo tour, "2025 Wendy's First World Tour 'We Are Alive' in Seoul," at Jangchung Arena in Seoul on the 20th and 21st.
