Young-sik, who said he got married after meeting his wife during the 2006 World Cup and reuniting in the second half of the year while she was pregnant, remarked, "After getting married and having children, there were some bumps along the way, and I was crying at home. My daughter asked if it was because of her mother and said, 'Can't you both live together?'" This was when he gained the courage to decide on divorce, inspired by his 7-year-old daughter.
