Actor Kim Seung-woo clarified reports that he requested the cancellation of footage after filming JTBC's 'One Meal a Day,' stating, "I filmed in a state of intoxication and sought understanding."
Kim Seung-woo's agency, The Queen AMC, explained on the 3rd, "At that time, Kim Seung-woo was in a light state of intoxication, and the management team, realizing this belatedly, judged that there would be issues with his grants during the performance. Kim Seung-woo also asked the production team to 'please stop the filming.'"
Previously, a media outlet reported that the footage filmed in the house of the couple Kim Seung-woo and Kim Nam-joo in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, during the recording of 'One Meal a Day,' which aired on the 5th of last month, was aired for about three hours but was subsequently discarded.
According to the report, around the end of the recording, Kim Seung-woo asked for the footage not to be aired, and the production team concluded that guests, actors Lee Jin-wook and Jung Chae-yeon, had failed the mission.
'One Meal a Day' is a variety program where hosts Kim Hee-seon and Tak Jae-hoon visit homes that invite them for dinner, serving a meal in return. The pilot ended after completing its eighth episode on the 26th of last month.
The agency stated, "This decision was made after learning about the situation during filming belatedly, and it was a well-resolved matter."
