The second teaser poster for 'Last Summer,' featuring the excited chemistry of Lee Jae-wook and Choi Sung-eun, has been released.
The new Saturday-Sunday miniseries 'Last Summer' (directed by Min Yeon-hong, written by Jeon Yu-ri), set to premiere on Nov. 1 at 9:20 p.m. on KBS 2TV, is a remodeling romance drama that unfolds as two friends, a man and a woman who have been friends since childhood, confront the truth of their first love hidden in Pandora's box.
This work is a collaboration between director Min Yeon-hong, who has showcased his sensuous direction in series like 'Royal Loader,' 'Missing: They Were There,' and 'Insider,' and writer Jeon Yu-ri, who is opening a new chapter in romance dramas with 'Kiss Sixth Sense' and 'Radio Romance.' With actors Lee Jae-wook and Choi Sung-eun already generating high expectations just from their combination, they have become a hot topic even before the broadcast.
Following the strong interest received by the first teaser poster, which captured the lushness of midsummer, the new second poster released today (3rd) depicts the explosive excitement of Lee Jae-wook and Choi Sung-eun just by being together. In the poster, the two transform perfectly into childhood friends Baek Do-ha and Song Ha-kyung, who spend only 21 days together during summer vacation. Standing side by side on the terrace of the dwellings built by their fathers, the two create a mysterious atmosphere, raising curiosity about the romantic chemistry that will unfold in the future.
In particular, while Lee Jae-wook looks at Choi Sung-eun, she is gazing elsewhere. Their intersecting glances express Song Ha-kyung's feelings as she ignores summer guest Baek Do-ha. After becoming adults, Ha-kyung, who still lives in the dwellings, ends up living with Do-ha, who moved next door for some reason. Curious what story intertwines between them.
The overall color scheme of the poster is also eye-catching. Capturing the freshness of summer while hinting at the cold relationship and bickering between Do-ha and Ha-kyung, this second teaser poster greatly amplifies expectations for the work.
In this regard, the production team noted, "The second poster shows the scenery of the dwellings where the connection between Do-ha and Ha-kyung begins. The story of these two, which would not have begun without this house, will satisfy the viewers' entertainment." They added, "The episodes that will unfold in the dwellings are also expected to add more intrigue, so we ask for lots of interest and love."
