On 2nd, Leo, who appeared on SBS entertainment show 'I'm not wearing shoes, The divorced guy,' candidly shared the reasons for his divorce from his ex-wife.
Leo introduced himself by saying, 'The reason I'm here today is because I'm a divorced man.' In fact, he is notable as a rising star on YouTube, coming from the Korean foreigner community. Leo said, 'My father was in the business of detecting North Korean tunnels and stayed in Korea for 100 days,' amusing the audience with a faint Finnish greeting.
Leo spoke openly about the process of marriage and divorce. He said, 'I separated from my ex-wife 8 years ago when I was a student. My ex-wife is Korean.' He added, 'I got married right after becoming an adult; we married after a year of dating and were married for 4 years. We have no children.'
He further explained the reason for their separation, saying, 'My ex-wife ghosted me,' which shocked the audience. Leo remarked, 'I suspect that my wife, who wanted to learn English, disappeared as soon as she went abroad. She didn't even use English in Finland but, after saying she wanted to learn it, went abroad and vanished.'
The divorce process was also complicated. He said, 'In Finland, it's over once you submit the paperwork, but in Korea, both parties had to appear in court. When we finally met after she went missing, we couldn't even talk to each other. We didn't know where to start,' conveying the shock and sadness he felt at that time.
In closing, Leo added, 'I was also disheartened after the divorce. She wasn't a bad person, and it's unfortunate that things turned out this way.'
