The band DAY6 has previewed a documentary reflecting on the footprints they have taken over the past 10 years.
DAY6 will release their 4th full-length album, 'The DECADE', on the 5th. As they embark on a commemorative project celebrating their 10th anniversary on the 7th, they posted a teaser video of the documentary retracing the last decade on their official social media channels on the afternoon of the 2nd.
The video begins with an atmosphere of moving metronomes, falling hourglasses, and clocks set to 9:07, sequentially showing the four members inside. As the screen transitions, it hinted at revealing the starting point when the band was formed in response to a proposal, anecdotes of their activities, and their sincere feelings toward the team. From the moment they stepped onto a small venue stage in 2015 to now, it is anticipated to share heartfelt stories about the memories, friendships, past, present, and future of the four members. The full version of the documentary will be released on September 9.
The new album titled 'The DECADE', named after the English word meaning ten years, features double title tracks '꿈의 버스' and 'INSIDE OUT', along with '해야 뜨지 말아 줘', 'Disco Day', 'My Way', '별들 앞에서', 'Take All My Heart', '날아라! 드림라이더', '드디어 끝나갑니다', '우리의 계절', totaling 10 tracks. All members participated in the production of the entire album, and composer Hong Ji-sang, who has long collaborated with DAY6, contributed as well.
Sung-jin, Young K, Wonpil, and Do-woon will hold their 10th Anniversary Tour 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour' at Goyang Gymnasium, where they made history as the first domestic band to have a solo concert with a full sell-out record on August 30 and 31.
DAY6's 4th full-length album 'The DECADE' will be available on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 5th.
