Actress Park Tam-hee (47) confessed that she has been battling cancer since her diagnosis eight years ago.
On the 3rd, Park Tam-hee appeared on the YouTube channel 'Newly Transformed CBS' and stated, "I felt my heart drop upon receiving the cancer diagnosis during a health check-up in 2017."
At the time, Park Tam-hee said, "I was 40 years old, and the greater fear was not the reality of death approaching, but the thought of my children growing up without their mother."
She underwent surgery for early-stage cancer, but after discovering metastasis, she had to undergo major surgery and chemotherapy. She shared that she had to pause her activities for several years due to chemotherapy, experiencing a difficult time, including hair loss.
Park Tam-hee recalled, "While undergoing chemotherapy, I truly felt that I was a cancer patient, and there was one time I sat down and cried uncontrollably."
Currently, she undergoes follow-up examinations every six months. She said, "After five years, I will have examinations once a year," adding, "I cherish each day."
Park Tam-hee married businessman in 2008 and has one son and one daughter.
