The Finnish broadcaster and YouTuber Leo shared the story of his divorce from his Korean ex-wife eight years ago.
Leo appeared on the SBS entertainment program "Dolsing Fourmen" broadcast on the 2nd and said, "I dated a Korean woman for a year after becoming an adult, married in Finland, and lived together for four years," adding, "The divorce happened eight years ago and was mutual."
Regarding the reason for the divorce, Leo noted, "My ex-wife wanted to learn English and went abroad for her studies, but she disappeared as soon as she arrived," explaining, "After she went overseas, communication stopped. It wasn't with bad intent, but I can't understand it."
He explained, "In Finland, the divorce process is completed simply by submitting documents, but in Korea, both parties must appear directly in court, making the divorce process very complicated."
He mentioned, "The person who disappeared suddenly showed up and the situation was not good, so we couldn't talk," adding, "The feelings I had at that time were so complex that I can't express them in words."
Leo also shared that his ex-wife remarried after their divorce.
