The band DAY6 has released a 10th anniversary medley live video, marking a special record of their 10-year musical journey.
DAY6 will celebrate their 10th debut anniversary on the 7th and will release their 4th full-length album 'The DECADE' on the 5th. They previously shared a 10th anniversary medley live video on their official SNS channels on the afternoon of the 1st, reflecting on the time written from 2015 to the present.
In the video, DAY6 boards an elevator going to each floor representing their years since debut. As the door closes, the stage for their debut song 'Congratulations' unfolds from the 1st floor, followed by performances of the title tracks from their albums released since debut, including 'Letting Go', 'Surely Smiling', 'I Like You', 'Shoot Me', and 'It Was a Happy Day'.
Up to the 5th floor, they showcase the title tracks from albums released between 2019 and 2021, including 'To Be A Page', 'Sweet Chaos', 'Zombie', and 'You Make Me'. When they press the button heading to the long-awaited 10th floor, the stage for 'Welcome to the Show' is revealed, followed by the double title tracks of the upcoming new full-length album, 'INSIDE OUT' and 'Dream's Bus', further completing the meaning of DAY6 with each title track.
Finally reaching the 10th floor, Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon greet each other warmly. As the door closes, the elevator, which only showed to the 10th floor, changes to a larger number, foreshadowing the journey beyond the 10th anniversary that DAY6 will continue. Having reached a meaningful peak through the records of each floor, DAY6 promises to always sing as 'the trusted and listened-to DAY6' with the support of their fans.
The 4th full-length album 'The DECADE' features 'Dream's Bus' and 'INSIDE OUT', which were first revealed during the 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour' held on August 30-31 at Goyang Sports Complex.
In celebration of their 10th debut anniversary, DAY6 is conducting various projects including concerts, a pop-up 'DAY6.zip', and a new full-length album. The 4th full-length album 'The DECADE' will officially be released at 6 p.m. on the 5th, and on the 7th and 14th, they will share self-produced content videos titled 'DAY6 10th Anniversary 'DAY6 is 10 years old'. Starting from the 27th, they will continue the tour in Bangkok.
