During the 10-minute 1:1 relay date that took place before the final choice, Lee Gyu-han expressed his gratitude to Hwangbo, saying, "You seem to be the only one who has made me emotional on this connection journey." When Hwangbo responded, "I thought you looked happy in every moment," Lee Gyu-han's eyes reddened as he shed tears, attracting attention.
He continued, "I don't know. Just. I felt emotional while driving yesterday. When I called you my 'best friend.' There was something touching about that. I was really grateful; it was the first time I heard those words," revealing his feelings. He held Hwangbo's hand and said, "After spending time with you, I thought I might be able to pursue romance again," to which Hwangbo replied, "That's a wonderful thing to say. It means a lot to me that I can do that for someone."
In the final choice, a new couple was formed. Kwang-jae said, "I regretted a lot after season 2. I tried not to regret this time in season 3," and he lit a candle for Hong-ja. He confessed, "I liked you from the first impression, and there was nothing about me that you would dislike." Hong-ja also chose Kwang-jae, saying, "I want to give you tickets to a trot musical that I can take my parents to," successfully forming a couple.
Song Byeong-cheol commented, "I felt comfortable talking with that person. I want to know more and go on a proper date with them," igniting interest with Hwangbo. Regarding his choice, Byeong-cheol said, "I thought a lot. After the date with Hwangbo, I said, 'Let's have fun together,' and we parted ways feeling good. I had the feeling that Gyu-han was always in my place. I was really disappointed; I wanted to talk a lot and get to know her better." Hwangbo also noted, "I thought we were getting to know each other, but I felt it was too short on time. I was also very curious. I think that's how it was," surprising everyone by choosing Byeong-cheol in the final decision. She added, "I thought I shouldn't forget my feelings from our first meeting," and said, "I think I made the right decision to be brave."
Ikyun said, "The date that made me flutter and much excited was the date with Hong-ja. So there are good people here, but I won't light a candle for any connection," while Soyeon boldly lit a candle for Kwang-ja, saying, "I want to light a candle for someone. I have some dating budget left, and I'd like to buy something delicious for you." He mentioned, "I want to light a candle as a friend. Becoming friends is also very meaningful to me," receiving applause.
Solbi chose Lee Gyu-han, who said, "Solbi is someone I'm a big fan of. Hwangbo is the woman who made me emotional for the first time here. Thank you for the wonderful words," but he also commented, "I think it's right not to reveal it for the sake of precious connections." Solbi and Hwangbo responded with, "So ugly!" Towards the end of the broadcast, the after-date scenes of the final couples were depicted. Kwang-ja visited Hong-ja's trot concert, enjoying a dining date afterward, while Song Byeong-cheol and Hwangbo went on an indoor fishing date. While they enjoyed the date naturally, Hwangbo casually proposed, "If I win, let's play tennis next time," asking for an after-date. Finally, the two took four-pose photos together, creating a pink atmosphere.
