Comedian Yoon Jung-soo's 12-year-younger fiancée has been identified as reporter Won Ja-hyun, and the wedding date has been announced.
Yoon Jung-soo and Won Ja-hyun will tie the knot on November 30 at a hotel located in Gangnam, Seoul, with only family and close acquaintances invited to the private ceremony.
In relation to this, a representative from Yoon Jung-soo's side stated to OSEN on the afternoon of the 2nd, "It is true that Mr. Yoon Jung-soo is getting married at the end of November."
Previously, Yoon Jung-soo drew attention by saying on a broadcast, "I am getting married to a 12-year-younger Pilates instructor." The couple has already completed their marriage registration, making them legally married, and they are set to appear on the TV Chosun entertainment show 'Couples of Joseon.'
On that day, it was revealed that Yoon Jung-soo's fiancée is Won Ja-hyun, attracting significant public interest.
Born in 1983, Won Ja-hyun has worked in various fields, including KBS reporter, Weather News Global Weather Anchor, and traffic caster. She also served as a sports reporter for MBC in 2010. Notably, she drew attention during the Guangzhou Asian Games, earning the title "Guangzhou Goddess." Afterward, she transitioned to a fitness model and placed second in both the model women's short section and Miss Bikini categories at the 2015 Musclemania Fitness World Qualifiers. Since 2017, she has been active as a Pilates instructor.
On the same day, Nam Chang-hee mentioned Yoon Jung-soo's marriage news during the broadcast of KBS Cool FM's 'Yoon Jung-soo and Nam Chang-hee's Mister Radio.'
Nam Chang-hee stated, "Yoon Jung-soo is currently ranked No. 1 in the entertainment industry. The article continues to be featured prominently," relaying the marriage news with Won Ja-hyun, referred to as the "Guangzhou Goddess."
In relation to this, Yoon Jung-soo noted that he would reveal his wife for the first time on 'Couples of Joseon,' saying, "One cannot judge a person solely by their appearance and voice, but please watch to see what kind of person she is. I would appreciate kind comments. The content of the marriage registration only showed her back, but I received a thousand negative comments. Some asked why I registered for marriage alone; I did so with the documents my wife prepared the night before."
Yoon Jung-soo also mentioned, "If we go together, people will say we went together. Excessive attention leads to marital disputes," adding, "I'm stressed about the 'wedding expenses' before the ceremony. Whether it's for a wedding planner or something else, it's just driving me crazy. The wedding culture in Korea needs to change. Top stars might have flexibility, but the meal costs won't be sponsored," expressing his concerns.
