Actress Kang So-ra participated as a talent donor in the Korean Foundation for the Disabled's public campaign to expand educational opportunities for children and youth with disabilities as the new school semester begins in September.
This campaign was planned to support children with disabilities who face economic difficulties and lack educational opportunities, encouraging their learning and growth.
Kang So-ra said, "While there are children opening classroom doors for the fall semester, there are still those who have not yet reached the starting line," adding, "As a mother and a neighbor, I wanted to contribute even a small strength to this campaign."
Kang So-ra has consistently engaged in sharing through various means, such as being a promotional ambassador for a book donation campaign, participating in a charity bazaar for abandoned pets, supporting vulnerable youth, and providing regular sponsorship for children. She said that every time she donates, her heart feels warmer, and she gains greater strength from knowing that even a small contribution can lighten someone's day.
The symbol of this campaign, the "INCLUSIVE bracelet," signifies "embracing everyone without discrimination." Kang So-ra wore it and conveyed the message that all children, regardless of disability, should have equal opportunities for learning.
Kang So-ra further stated, "Children grow at their own pace, but being different does not mean falling behind," and expressed her wish for all children to enjoy equal educational opportunities and to nurture their own dreams without giving up.
