Actress Choi Yoon-ji continues the emotion of her first leading role through song.
The cable channel tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Love, Take Two' announced that Choi Yoon-ji's fifth OST 'In the Summer' will be released on the 2nd at 6 p.m. through various music streaming sites.
In the drama, the song that Lee Ji-an (Yum Jung-ah) enjoyed singing in her childhood flows again through her daughter Lee Hyori (Choi Yoon-ji), bringing back memories and excitement. The hit song 'In the Summer' by Deuce, which has been summoned every summer since its release in 1994, has been reinterpreted through Choi Yoon-ji's voice with a warm sentiment.
The arrangement retains the refreshing and free-spirited vibe of the original 1990s hip sound while creating an even softer and lyrical atmosphere based on acoustic sounds.
This project features producer DOKO and his team Winter City, refining the completeness of the sound and the details of the emotion with greater precision.
Additionally, this release includes a Drama Scene version of 'In the Summer' in which Choi Yoon-ji plays the guitar and sings, which is expected to be another gift for drama fans.
Choi Yoon-ji, who is gaining attention for expressing the inner world of wandering youth in their 20s and family bonds with delicate acting, enhances her authenticity by participating directly in the OST while showcasing her singing ability, allowing her to shine in both acting and singing.
'Love, Take Two' portrays the story of single mother Ji-an and her medical student daughter Hyori, who face the tale of first love—which is not an end but a new beginning—deciding to live for today's happiness rather than tomorrow's. It airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. on tvN, and the fifth OST 'In the Summer,' featuring the lead actress Choi Yoon-ji, can be enjoyed from 6 p.m. on the same day.
