Group i-dle (Idle) Yuqi has entered the solo comeback countdown.
Cube Entertainment announced on the 2nd through i-dle's (Miyeon, Minnie, Sooyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) official SNS channel the promotion scheduler for Yuqi's single 'Motivation.'
Yuqi will target global fans with various promotions leading up to the single's release, starting with a photo book image preview on the 3rd, followed by the track list, intro film, special video, concept images, and music video teasers. The promotion scheduler, presented in the form of a street flyer featuring a kitschy character dressed in 90s hip-hop style and a rabbit symbolizing Yuqi, raises curiosity with the question 'What's Your Motivation?' following the teaser images.
Yuqi has already heated up the Chinese market with just the announcement of her first single. On the popular Chinese SNS Weibo, news of Yuqi's solo comeback has risen to the top of trending searches, fueling high expectations for the return of the solo artist Yuqi.
Yuqi achieved half a million seller status with her first solo mini-album 'YUQ1' released last year. Additionally, she won the 'Digital EP of the Year' award at the 2025 Tencent Music Entertainment Awards (2025 TMEA), showcasing her prominence as a solo artist.
Additionally, her digital single 'Radio (Dum-Dum)' released in March received 'Platinum' certification from QQ Music, China's largest music site, and she proved her skills as a producer through the song 'Fly Freely (Feat. Yuqi)' by her agency's junior group NOWZ.
Yuqi's single 'Motivation' will be released on the 16th at 6 p.m. on various music sites.
