In the episode airing on Sept. 2, broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon and Dongbang's Changmin, who traveled to study architecture in Hong Kong with architect Yoo Hyun-joon, will share their second architectural story in Hong Kong.
On this day, the three will visit a newly opened building in Hong Kong that opened in 2024. This architectural structure symbolizes the future of Hong Kong, showcasing the beauty of curves among tall, straight buildings and capturing everyone's attention. Moreover, this building has seen an astonishing investment that is not just in the 'hundreds' but in the 'trillions,' leaving the three in awe.
Upon entering the building, the three are overwhelmed by the luxurious space that uses high-quality materials right from the entrance. Notably, every panel on the ceiling and walls of the first-floor lobby bore a serial number, which architect Yoo Hyun-joon explained involved advanced technology, piquing their curiosity. Hong Seok-cheon jokingly remarked, 'I feel so small that I can't look anymore,' while Changmin exclaimed, 'How much money did this cost?' showing their keen interest in the secrets of the high-tech lobby.
While exploring the building, the three are once again left speechless at the spatial flexibility demonstrated by the building owner and architect to highlight the curves. Calculating the construction costs, Changmin exclaimed, 'This is insane,' showing an authentic reaction that brought laughter.
The three are invited to the most special space in the building, where they can enjoy views not accessible to just anyone. Hong Seok-cheon expressed, 'I really envy the building owner being here,' while Changmin commented, 'I was envious from the entrance.'
