Chef Choi Hyun-seok's daughter and model Choi Hyun-soo appeared on "Joseon's Loving Man" and candidly confessed her feelings about her upcoming marriage in September with Kim Tae-hyun, a member of Dickpunks.
On the 1st, Choi Hyun-soo made a surprise appearance on TV Chosun's entertainment show "Joseon's Loving Man." The cast members expressed their admiration, saying, "You're tall, truly beautiful as expected from a model." They then posed the question, "Why are you getting married so quickly at the beautiful age of 26?"
Choi Hyun-soo responded, "I was born in 1999, so I'm 26 this year. The reason I want to get married quickly is that I've been dating for too long." She continued, "If we're going to get married anyway, I thought we might as well do it quickly. We've been dating for five and a half years." Hearing this, Hwang Bo-ra laughed and said, "I dated for 10 years."
In particular, the couple attracted attention as a 12-year age-gap couple. Choi Hyun-soo shared, "My family opposed it a lot at first. So, I actively highlighted my boyfriend's strengths, and he also made an effort," revealing the back story. She added, "Eventually, my dad admitted he was 'a nice guy.'"
"I'm usually laid-back and have a boyish style, but my boyfriend is the type who is sweet and expressive. I feel supported by him taking care of me next to me," she expressed her affection.
Questions befitting an engaged woman followed. Choi Hyun-soo asked Kim Ji-min, who has experienced married life, "Is there anything different after getting married compared to when you were dating?" Kim Ji-min replied, "It's much better. When you're dating, there's an assumption that 'you could break up,' but when you're married, there's a sense of stability knowing that the person will always be by your side. There's also more physical closeness and happiness," offering realistic advice.
Viewers continue to support the love story of Choi Hyun-soo and Kim Tae-hyun, who are getting married in September.
