Mnet's 'National Spark Tour' will feature MONSTA X.
Mnet's idol festival grand operation 'National Spark Tour' (directed by Jung Hye-mi PD) is based on the concept of top K-POP idol groups active around the world visiting various regions, offering local specialties and performances in a one-plus-one (1+1) manner. Until now, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, NCT DREAM, and ZEROBASEONE have participated together, creating a synergy of coexistence that draws attention through the collaboration of regions, artists, and fans.
Tonight (the 2nd, Tuesday) at 10 p.m., the 4th episode of 'National Spark Tour' will feature the global idol MONSTA X visiting Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do. MONSTA X is set to challenge the sale of '990 won chestnut', which serves as both a representative local specialty of Gongju and a concert ticket. Expectations are high for MONSTA X's special day as they transform into 'One-Day Gongju Chestnut Ambassadors,' joining the citizens of Gongju along with MONBEBE fans gathered from various regions across the country. Notably, to mark their 10th anniversary, they are also said to have opened a limited popup for MONBEBE and spent special time with fans, adding to the intrigue.
During this broadcast, MONSTA X, celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, will face a chaotic challenge in selling chestnuts that they cannot avoid. Extreme rainfall across the country on the eve of the performance, along with fluctuating weather up until the morning of the event, leaves the members unable to hide their worries, but they actively engage with citizens to promote the concert and sell chestnuts. Their determination is expected to captivate viewers, including street performances and other efforts.
In particular, representative entertainer Kim Jae-jung from Gongju will serve as a special spark guide for his juniors, heightening expectations. He is rumored to showcase his seasoned hosting skills by sharing various tips about Gongju, raising the atmosphere of the event amid warm welcomes from the citizens. Given Kim Jae-jung's strong support, attention is focused on whether MONSTA X can safely complete their finale performance.
Meanwhile, 'National Spark Tour' can be watched live worldwide through global K-POP content platform Mnet Plus. Additionally, VOD services are provided through various global OTT platforms such as ABEMA, Rakuten Viki, Apple TV+, and Amazon Prime Video, allowing fans around the world to share in the excitement of 'National Spark Tour'.
'National Spark Tour' airs every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. on Mnet.
