On the 1st, 'Pursuing Old Encounters' (hereafter 'Omanchu'), which simultaneously ended on KBS Joy, KBS2, and GTV, depicted the final choices of the Season 3 relationship journey. Unlike the second season, where no couple was formed, this season attracted attention with the formation of two couples.
Park Kwang-jae expressed deep regret over not being able to fully convey his feelings during his participation in Season 2. He noted, "I tried not to have regrets this time around in Season 3." He confessed to Hongja while lighting the candle of their relationship, "I liked you from the first impression, and there was not a single thing I disliked about you."
Hongja also responded by choosing Park Kwang-jae. She stated, "I felt comfortable when I was with him, and time seemed to fly by," revealing that she was attracted to him from the beginning.
Song Byeong-cheol stated that he tried to find someone to share his hobbies with through 'Omanchu'. He explained his choice by saying, "I felt comfortable when we talked together, and I think there would be many fun things if we participated together," as he selected Hwangbo. Hwangbo struggled between the excitement she felt with Song Byeong-cheol and the slowly developing feelings with Lee Gyu-han. Ultimately, Hwangbo chose Song Byeong-cheol, emphasizing, "I don't think I should forget the feelings from our first meeting. The person I want to know more about is Byeong-cheol."
On the other hand, unexpected decisions followed. Lee Gyu-han, who was chosen by Solbi, did not light the candle of their relationship. He said, "I entered 'Omanchu' with an empty heart, but the Season 3 members filled that empty space," mentioning the burden he felt that his choice might cause unnecessary hurt to the members, stating, "I want to protect my friends."
I-Kyeon did not light a candle, but revealed his feelings for Hongja. He confessed, "The date that made me excited and nervous was with Hongja." However, as Park Kwang-jae and Hongja became a couple before his choice, I-Kyeon gave up on the final selection.
On the contrary, Jang So-yeon lit a candle for Park Kwang-jae despite his connection with Hongja. She expressed her desire to maintain a friendship with him, stating, "Becoming friends is also very meaningful to me."
The after-date of the couples Hongja and Park Kwang-jae, Hwangbo and Song Byeong-cheol was also revealed. Park Kwang-jae visited the musical theater where Hongja was performing. He went to Hongja's waiting room to deliver a bouquet and gifts, supporting her.
