Actress Ryu Jin reflected on the bitter experience of a failed real estate investment.

My father said, 'We don't have money, only the rich can live there,' but my mother somehow managed to take out a loan of about 30 million won to get in," adding, "One day suddenly, they sold it saying, 'We'll contract tomorrow.' But the day after the sale, restrictions on building heights in Jamsil were lifted. It was from the next day that housing prices started to rise more. Now it's over 3 billion..." recalling with regret the experience of missing out on 3 billion right before his eyes.
Additionally, Ryu Jin stated, "I bought my newlywed home at Sangam World Cup Park 4 Complex in late 2006 for almost 700 million won. After holding it for nearly 10 years, when I sold, the price was 750 million won. Honestly, it was a failure in investment. Completely." That house was trading between 1.55 billion and 1.8 billion won, and it raised prices immediately after Ryu Jin sold it in 2014. Ryu Jin expressed despair, saying, "I held it for 10 years.
