Ayane, the Japanese wife of singer and actor Lee Ji-hoon, revealed that she has undergone a significant transformation, saying she has "been reborn."
Ayane shared a photo from an outing with her daughter on her social media on the 1st, opening up with, "Everyone, I haven't been able to Instagram for a while...? Today, I went out for the first time after being reborn. I went to Itaewon with Luhee and had a great time at a hip café."
She continued, "The reason I was reborn is... Actually... I had lens insertion surgery!!!!" surprising viewers. She explained, "Due to genetics, my eyesight has not been good since I was young (since the 1st grade), and I wore lenses for almost 20 years since middle school... I finally graduated from them. There wasn't any pain or anything, but I thought I needed to let my eyes rest?! I didn't look at social media much and couldn't put on makeup, so I didn't take photos at all. It's truly... a complete Shinsegae!!!!!!! I really wonder why I didn't do this before..." expressing her satisfaction with the surgery.
She added, "There have been times I forgot my lenses while traveling and had to buy them at the travel destination, and I used disposable lenses for two days... (Lenseither must agree, right? Haha) More than anything, it's comforting to fall asleep while watching a movie!!!"
The shared photos and videos capture Ayane on a date in Itaewon with her daughter Luhee. She looks adorable striking poses at the restaurant or pushing a stroller.
Meanwhile, Ayane and Lee Ji-hoon, despite a 14-year age gap and different nationalities, held their wedding in 2021. After undergoing IVF treatment, they successfully became pregnant and welcomed their first daughter last July, three years after marriage, and recently celebrated the baby's first birthday with many well-wishers.
