Singer Lee Seok-hoon expressed deep gratitude and affection for his wife Choi Sun-ah.
On Aug. 31, Lee made an appearance on the SBS variety show My Little Old Boy, celebrating his 10th wedding anniversary.
Lee married ballerina Choi Sun-ah in 2017 and welcomed a son in 2018. He said, "I still get butterflies when I see my wife. No matter what others say, that still holds true," showcasing his unwavering appearance as a 'loving husband.'
When the MCs asked, "Is it true that you lost your financial rights to your wife?" Lee explained, "All the re-broadcast fees and royalties are managed by my wife. It's not that I've lost them; I've asked her to manage everything." He added, "My wife is much wiser than I am. She's quick with numbers, and she takes care of all the tax-related matters, which is very convenient for me." He continued, "That doesn't mean I receive an allowance. I spend as I see fit," drawing laughter.
Previously, regarding his musical activities, he said, "Whenever there are affection scenes or kissing scenes in a project, I always talk to my wife first. I say, 'If you don't want me to, I won't do it,' and there have been instances where I've actually turned down a role," showing his exceptional consideration.
Above all, while listening to Jo Hyun-ah's story, Lee Seok-hoon recalled his late mother and became emotional. He said, "My own mother passed away from illness. At that time when I was serving in the military, my then-girlfriend, now wife, often visited and kept my mother company. I was so grateful that she did what even family would find difficult," and added, "When my mother was ill, I made up my mind to marry this person."
Seo Jang-hoon, who appeared alongside him, also seemed to be reminded of his deceased mother, with tears welling up in his eyes, bringing a somber atmosphere to the studio.
