NCT WISH is making a comeback today (1st) with their third mini album 'COLOR'.
The third mini album 'COLOR' is a work that encapsulates the music color of NCT WISH, which has become clearer through growth, and all tracks will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on September 1, and the music video for the title track 'COLOR' will also be opened simultaneously through the SMTOWN YouTube channel.
In particular, the title track 'COLOR' is an impressive electro-pop song characterized by intense synthesizers, jazzy chord progressions, and changes in the rhythm of the chorus, and the lyrics express their strong confidence in coloring the world with NCT WISH's unique color and maintaining their identity.
NCT WISH expressed confidence about this album, saying, "It will be an album that fully captures NCT WISH's color and surprises the fans (known as 'seozni')," and also introduced the new song 'COLOR' by stating, "As soon as I heard it, I felt certain that 'this will work' and it's a song that can truly show our growth."
They continued, "Since this is a comeback after five months, we prepared hard to show our growth. Our goal is to clearly show the message of the album, 'We color the world with our colors,' and the performance also contains different charms than before, so please look forward to it."
Additionally, NCT WISH attended Japan's largest summer music festival 'a-nation 2025' held at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo on August 31, once again solidifying their presence as the 'top trend' in the local scene by performing at a major festival for the second consecutive year.
On this day, NCT WISH kicked off their performance with 'Melt Inside My Pocket', followed by 'Songbird', 'Hands Up', 'poppop', 'Sail Away', and the pre-release track from their third mini album 'Surf', presenting a total of six songs with refreshing music and energetic performances that heated up the festival atmosphere.
