Netflix's variety show "Crime Scene Zero" has announced a fierce investigation battle featuring Jang Jin, Park Ji-yoon, Jang Dong-min, Kim Ji-hoon, and Ahn Yoo-jin, heightened by character stills and grants.
"Crime Scene Zero" is a legendary role-playing investigation game where players become suspects and detectives to find the hidden criminal among them. As a new series of "Crime Scene" making its debut to global viewers, it returns with the meaning of going back to the basics and being more faithful to the fun and essence of the case.
If the previous teaser trailer announced the return of the legendary role-playing investigation game, the extraordinary transformation of Jang Jin, Park Ji-yoon, Jang Dong-min, Kim Ji-hoon, and Ahn Yoo-jin revealed on this day raised expectations even further with diverse and unpredictable character play.
First, Jang Jin, dressed as 'Jang Pyeon-dol' with a somewhat modest posture but sharp eyes, is captivating. All-round player Park Ji-yoon steals the spotlight as she perfectly embodies a formidable shaman. Jang Dong-min transforms into the uniquely named 'Jang Agwi.' Expectations are high for what kind of performance the reigning brain survival champion Jang Dong-min will showcase in this "Crime Scene Zero." Kim Ji-hoon's comeback also catches attention. The 'Kim Mi-nam' character, holding artificial tears and delivering a method performance, sparks curiosity. Ahn Yoo-jin, the 'clear-eyed investigation prodigy' of IVE, adds to the intrigue with her smile. With top-tier deductive skills and method-level character play, expectations are focused on the players' performances as they engage in intense investigation games over a meticulously crafted story.
Jang Jin said, "Every time we face a new season of 'Crime Scene,' there is always overwhelming excitement and expectation. Moreover, the thrill of confronting an upgraded 'Crime Scene' is something only those directly involved can experience. I encountered a new 'Zero' amidst that thrill and shiver." Park Ji-yoon noted, "I pondered a lot about what role I should play. I made tremendous efforts to maintain the tone of 'Crime Scene' so that others could blend into that flow," raising expectations. Jang Dong-min stated, "As always, I approached it with the mindset of a beginner. Since it's a program I love very much, I wanted to be faithful to my role and give it my all."
Kim Ji-hoon shared, "I was excited to participate after a long time, and I thought it would be fun. I wasn't sure what character I would take on, but I thought I needed to bring that character to life properly." Ahn Yoo-jin also conveyed her excitement, saying, "I really enjoyed filming the previous 'Crime Scene' series, and I've developed a lot of interest in investigation since then, so it's an honor and very thrilling to be with 'Crime Scene' again. I aimed to understand the case more thoroughly and immerse myself in the situation to deliver a more vivid immersion to the viewers than in the last season."
Meanwhile, "Crime Scene Zero" will be exclusively released on Netflix on the 23rd.
