JYP Entertainment's boy group KickFlip will release their mini album 'My First Flip' on Sept. 22 and make a comeback.
KickFlip officially announced their comeback news on their official SNS channel at midnight on the 1st, along with a teaser for the music video of the album track 'Band-Aid'. After about four months since their second mini album 'Kick Out, Flip Now!', released in May, they are set to engage in new activities and lead the momentum of 'K-pop super rookies'.
The teaser for the music video of 'Band-Aid' instantly raised anticipation. Minje delivered the narration, "She said that first love is painful," with her unique low voice, capturing attention with her pure visuals like a protagonist in a youth movie. Following that, scenes of Gyuhun, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyun, dressed in school uniforms, running through the school hallways and rooftops before diving into a swimming pool, sparked curiosity for the full version. The full music video for 'Band-Aid' will be available at midnight on the 2nd.
They debuted in January 2025 with their first mini album 'Flip it, Kick it!' and the title track 'Mama Said'. Following that, their second mini album, 'Kick Out, Flip Now!', and the title track 'FREEZE' demonstrated their growth as rising stars. In particular, they showcased themselves as 'next-generation performance masters' at major global festivals this summer. With excellent live skills and performances, they expanded their presence at events like Lollapalooza Chicago, Summer Sonic 2025 in Tokyo and Osaka, 2025 TIMA, and Summer Sonic Bangkok 2025.
Through their first and second mini albums, KickFlip shouted that they would go their own way without caring about mundane nagging heard at home or school. Expectations are high for the stories they will unfold in their new album 'My First Flip'.
Meanwhile, KickFlip is set to unveil their third mini album 'My First Flip' on Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. and aim for an even higher leap.
