The accompanying photo included a banner stating, "The Jamwon Han River swimming pool will undergo remodeling starting this year and will be closed for the remainder of the year."
In particular, Ko Kyung-pyo conveyed his disappointment by saying, "It has been fun, Jamwon Han River swimming pool. I've heard that the Jamwon Han River swimming pool will soon be remodeled and will no longer be an adult swimming pool."
He expressed regret, saying, "I've heard that the size, depth, and even the rails you provided and slowly improving sunbeds will no longer allow swimming as we do now, starting this year. I sincerely hope this isn't true... It's sad... I wish I could know the reason, ㅠㅠ."
The Jamwon Han River park, among others, has outdoor swimming pools that citizens can freely use. They operate as swimming pools in summer and sledding areas in winter, attracting many citizens every year with clean facilities and affordable prices, which are about half the cost of regular outdoor swimming pools. However, as of the 31st, the swimming pools and water play areas in Han River parks have ended operations.
In response, Ko Kyung-pyo publicly expressed his negative opinion about the rumor that adults would no longer be able to use the Han River swimming pool after remodeling, stating, "If there's a wish, I hope that the Jamwon Han River swimming pool will be maintained and continued next year and beyond."
