A couple from the 3rd season of 'Pursuing Old Encounters' has been formed.
On the broadcast of KBS2 'Pursuing Old Encounters' on the 1st, the final choice results for the 3rd season connections were revealed.
Before the final choice that day, a 10-minute one-on-one relay date took place, during which Gyu-han approached Hwang-bo and said, "I think you're the only person who made me emotional during this connection journey." Hwang-bo then replied, "You always seemed happy at every moment," causing Gyu-han to quickly redden his eyes and shed tears, drawing attention.
Hwang-bo asked, "What was so hard?" and Gyu-han replied, "I don't know. Just. I felt emotional while driving yesterday, when I said 'best friend.' That felt somewhat touching. I was really grateful. It was the first time I'd heard that," expressing his emotions. Without saying a word, Gyu-han reached out and took Hwang-bo's hand, saying, "After spending time with you, I thought I could do melodrama again," conveying his sincerity, to which Hwang-bo responded, "That's a wonderful thing to say. The fact that I can do that for someone means a lot."
The female participants finished their one-on-one relay date. Among them, Hwang-bo said, "I was surprised by how sincere Lee Gyu-han was," adding, "I felt emotional while talking. Honestly, I wanted to hug him." Sol-bi acknowledged that there was something between Hwang-bo and Lee Gyu-han that she didn't know about, expressing her complicated feelings by saying, "I'm curious about Gyu-han's feelings."
Hwang-bo perked up when Sol-bi mentioned Song Byeong-cheol. Sol-bi said, "Song Byeong-cheol said he has someone in his heart. He said someone compatible with him is in his heart," and added, "He mentioned to someone else other than me who it might be," speaking meaningfully.
The stories of the male participants continued. Park Kwang-jae, who appeared in both the 2nd and 3rd seasons, expressed the pressure of the final choice. He said, "I thought the relay date would help, but it just made me more confused," expressing the difficulty of the choice. In contrast, Song Byeong-cheol showed confidence, stating, "I made my heart's decision while making eye contact with the four people," creating a stark contrast.
Lee Gyeon said, "Those short 10 minutes had more impact than 3 to 4 hours," indicating that he was really attracted to Hong-ja and Sol-bi, whom he met for the first time during the one-on-one date, alongside Hwang-bo and Jang Seo-yeon from the earlier dates, hinting at new variables.
The final choice was finally carried out. Kwang-jae said, "After appearing in the 2nd season, I regretted a lot. I had some regrets, but this time, I really tried not to regret coming in the 3rd season. As soon as I saw her, I decided to go with my feelings," revealing his connection with Hong-ja. He added, "I liked her from the first impression, and conversing with her was great. There wasn't a single part where I felt she would dislike me," conveying his sincerity. Hong-ja then stated, "I also want to give her tickets to a trot musical so she can bring her parents," helping to solidify Kwang-jae's light as a couple.
Lee Gyeon did not light up the connection candle. He stated, "The date that made my heart flutter and made me nervous was the date with Hong-ja. Therefore, even though there are some good people, I won't light the candle of connection," maintaining his position.
Song Byeong-cheol noted, "I felt comfortable talking with her. I want to learn more and have a proper date with her," revealing his interest in Hwang-bo. Regarding his choice, Byeong-cheol expressed, "I thought a lot. After the date with Hwang-bo, I said, 'Let's have fun together' and parted on a good note, but I always felt Gyu-han was in my place. I was so disappointed; I wanted to talk a lot and get to know her better," disclosing his true feelings.
Next in line for the choice was Hwang-bo. She revealed, "After all, the one who seems the most like a man is Gyu-han and Byeong-cheol," admitting her dilemma between the two. Hwang-bo shared, "I thought we were getting to know each other, but I was disappointed that the time was too short. I was very curious, and I think that's how it is," causing surprise as she chose Byeong-cheol as her final choice. She added, "After thinking it over, I thought I shouldn't forget the feelings from our first meeting," stating, "I think I made the right choice to be brave."
Seo-yeon expressed, "There's someone I want to light a candle for. I have some extra date funds, and I want to buy some delicious food for him," boldly lighting the candle for Kwang-jae. He replied, "I want to light the candle as a friend. Becoming friends means a lot to me," which received applause.
Sol-bi selected Lee Gyu-han, and he said, "Sol-bi is a huge fan of mine. Hwang-bo is the first woman who made me emotional since I got here. Thank you for telling such a wonderful story," yet he added, "I think it's best not to reveal it to preserve this precious bond," deciding to forgo his choice. In response, Sol-bi and Hwang-bo teased, "That's pathetic!"
Lee Gyu-han mentioned, "When I entered here, my heart felt completely empty, but in a short time, I felt these people filled it up, and I'm happy. There were hard times, and I thought (due to hateful comments) whether it would hurt or disadvantage anyone because of me," explaining his reason for not making a choice.
