Singer Lee Hyun will release her mini album 'A(E)ND' on Sept. 16 at 6 p.m.
'A(E)ND' is a new song revealed after 4 years since the single 'Moon in the Sea' released in July 2021, and it is an album presented approximately 14 years and 7 months after her mini album 'The Best Among Mine' released in February 2011. Lee Hyun infused deep emotions and honest stories into the album bearing her name after a long time.
The album title 'A(E)ND' combines the words 'AND' and 'END,' which have similar spelling and pronunciation but opposite meanings. It symbolically shows the duality of relationships and the complexity of emotions. This new release contains a total of 6 tracks that delicately depict universal feelings like love and heartbreak. The album, which unravels familiar emotions in a straightforward manner, resonates with listeners.
In particular, Lee Hyun attempts to expand her musical spectrum through various genre explorations, including ballads filled with her signature pathos, trendy pop, and R&B. It is an album where her long-accumulated expressiveness and challenges harmoniously blend.
Meanwhile, Lee Hyun is currently active as the DJ for MBC FM4U's 'Good Friends, It's Lee Hyun' every Monday to Thursday at midnight (91.9 MHz in the Seoul metropolitan area).
