Actor Kim Bo-seong confessed to fighting a rare incurable disease.
On Aug. 31, a video titled "Surgery without anesthesia for the purpose of atonement? Guaranteed 100% laughter. Kim Soo-yong's friend, the man of loyalty, Kim Bo-seong" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Jo Dong-a-ri'.
In the released video, Kim Bo-seong announced that he is preparing for a charity boxing match for the third time with Japanese mixed martial artist Kondo Tetsuo, stating, "The first match was for children with pediatric cancer, the second match was for visually impaired individuals. This third match is to help patients with rare incurable diseases."
He continued, "In fact, I am also suffering from a rare incurable disease. I cannot speak about it on air. It's a disease that is almost impossible to cure, but I will discuss it after the match," confessing his battle with the disease. He added, "It's a disease that occurred because I have been hit so many times," shocking everyone.
Kim Bo-seong also candidly revealed that he has never had a health checkup in his life. He said, "I'm scared of what might come out because I've lived a rough life. I will die without knowing," raising concerns among the grants.
Kim Bo-seong previously revealed that he lost vision in his left eye due to fights during his school days, receiving a grade 6 visual impairment designation. Additionally, in a 2016 mixed martial arts match with 'Road FC', he sustained an orbital fracture injury, threatening his right eye and evoking sympathy.
Meanwhile, Kim Bo-seong made his debut in the 1989 film 'Happiness is not in the order of grades,' and has worked as a representative action star in Korea for over 30 years. Recently, he also entered TikTok, declaring that he would donate all revenue, continuing his path as a 'man of loyalty.'
