The season of "My Kid's Private Life" has come to an end.
The ENA Sunday variety show "My Kid's Private Life" (hereafter "My Private Life") has concluded for its reorganization. The 36th episode, aired on Aug. 31, featured soccer hopeful Gun-ho's away game in Daegu and the adventure of actor Lee Jong-hyuk's two sons, the "Tack-Jun Brothers," Tack-soo and Jun-soo, who were stranded on a deserted island.
The children's delightful challenges captured viewers' attention, and the ratings responded positively. Jun-soo, completing the deserted island adventure, expressed his dream in a scene where he said, "Next time, I want to travel to Japan and meet Shiho Yano," resulting in ratings soaring to 2.4%, marking the highest viewership for a single minute. On that day, Gun-ho visited Lee Geun-ho's soccer academy located in Daegu. Prior to that, after receiving mental training from "Noo-na Eun," Na-eun, Gun-ho confidently stated, "I have now been reborn." In fact, Gun-ho showed remarkable improvement in lifting skills compared to his previous meeting with Lee Dong-gook and drew attention with his mature demeanor of congratulating his opponents without crying after a loss.
Gun-ho, who faced off against Lee Geun-ho's disciples, engaged in an exciting match, exchanging goals with the opposing team captain. Unlike before, when the opponent scored, Gun-ho did not become discouraged but focused on the game, ultimately achieving his goal of a hat trick—an achievement he aspired to in his soccer career, leading his team to victory. To make matters worse, Jun-soo's gloves were swept away by the sea, and he had to retrieve them. As Jun-soo, terrified, entered the seawater and said, "Hyung, am I going to die?", Tack-soo calmly comforted him, showcasing the bond between the brothers.
Ultimately, the children spent the night cramped together in a narrow one-touch tent. After a day full of ups and downs, in the morning, Jun-soo exercised using stones from the deserted island while managing his figure, applying a pack for skin care. He had to take care of his appearance with the university entrance exam approaching. Seeing this, Tack-soo quipped, "Did you come to a deserted island to take care of yourself?" which made the studio burst into laughter.
Having spent special time talking and solving problems together on the deserted island, the Tack-Jun brothers left Lee Jong-hyuk feeling proud as a father as he remarked, "Seeing my two sons talking for a long time was heartwarming." Tack-soo, who initially complained, said, "I was glad to see scenery that you can't see in the city," and Jun-soo shared sincerely, "The time I spent eating with my brother was the most memorable."
Additionally, Jun-soo revealed his next travel plans with his brother, saying, "I want to dress up and go to Japan. I imagine meeting Shiho Yano on the street," which made the scene burst into laughter. With each other's support, the Tack-Jun brothers succeeded in surviving on the deserted island, and attention is drawn to what steps they will take next.
