B-boy Wing (Kim Heon-woo) lifted the championship trophy in Portugal.
Wing, representing Korea's B-boy team Jinjo Crew, reached the top at 'The Breaking Gala,' held on the 27th of last month (local time) at the Porto de Leixões Cruise Terminal in Porto, Portugal.
After successfully finishing a workshop held earlier, Wing competed and secured a unanimous 3-0 victory against Japanese representative Shuto, proving both his conditioning and concentration.
This competition, held at the Porto de Leixões Cruise Terminal, an iconic space in the Porto harbor, was part of the highlight program of 'The World Battle 2025,' taking place from August 25 to 31.
The premium invitational match featured eight breakers representing eight countries, including Korea, France, Lithuania, Australia, Ukraine, Japan, China, and Portugal, competing on a gala dinner-style stage.
According to the advance announcement, the judging panel consisted of Ronnie, Ayumi, Frost, Skim, and Kleju, while Max & MG hosted the event and DJ Godzi provided the music. The lineup for participants included Wing, Sissy, Nicka, Den, Shuto, Xrain, Deeogo, and Willastr8.
Wing is currently active in Jinjo Crew, the Seoul City Hall Breaking Team, and CJ, boasting over 100 championships as a representative breaker of Korea. He has consistently performed well on various international stages, earning recognition for his top-notch skills.
Meanwhile, during 'The World Battle 2025' week, various programs such as workshops, parties, and breaking battles are being held. On August 28, the 'WDSF Youth Breaking World Championship' will take place in Matuzinhos, heating up the entire city as a breaking festival.
