BTS member Jungkook issued a warning aimed at a woman in her 40s who broke into his home.
On the morning of 1st, Jungkook held a live broadcast through the official fan community Weverse to celebrate his birthday and communicate with fans.
That day, Jungkook mentioned the enormous wrapping advertisement installed at the Yongsan I-Park Mall stairs for his birthday. He revealed, "I saw that. The Yongsan stairs. I saw it's made with my photo. So I thought about doing a live broadcast there, but then I felt like it was too much, and I was a bit scared, so I ended up doing the live from home."
On the 31st, ahead of Jungkook's birthday, the Yongsan Police Station announced that they had arrested a woman surnamed A, in her 40s, for breaking into Jungkook's home parking lot around 11:20 p.m. on the 30th. According to reports, a security officer discovered Ms. A entering the parking lot following a car and reported it to the police. It is reported that when she was arrested, she claimed, "I entered thinking it was a friend's house."
In response, Jungkook said, "As you saw in the news, another person came to our house. They visited our house and were taken away," addressing the reports, and added, "Please don't come. Really. Do you understand? If you step into my house parking lot, you won't be able to leave unless I let you out. You will just be stuck. And there are CCTV cameras everywhere and we are watching. If you don't want to go to the police station, don't come in. Do you understand?"
He also explained the situation when Ms. A was being arrested by the police. Jungkook recalled, "I was watching on the CCTV, and the police came. They came from above, and since the parking lot is underground, there were sounds of shoes in the underground parking lot, and I was monitoring the situation. When I heard the police, suddenly she rushed to open the door. She opened it, and there were police right in front of her."
He said, "I was watching everything. She claimed she was my friend. Yes, ARMYs are all family and friends, but…" he sighed, expressing his disappointment, "I was saddened. I'm very grateful for their support. But what is that, coming here?"
He added, "Anyway, if they come, I'll just lock them up. So they'll be taken away. They'll be dragged to the police. I have secured all evidence and everything is recorded. If you want to be dragged to the police, come on over," he repeatedly warned.
Meanwhile, in June, there was an incident where a Chinese woman attempted to break into Jungkook's home. The Chinese woman was arrested in the act by the police and was sent to non-custodial measures on the 27th of last month. Following the repeated break-in incidents, when Jungkook sent a warning message himself, fans expressed their anger at those who stalked him, saying, "Please don't go near him."
