He asked about the 'Aoji Coal Mine,' known for forced labor. Lee Soon-sil said, "The bad thing is that you go into the mine to dig coal; you have to walk 4 kilometers due to coal mine requirements and you can fall for various reasons like explosions or falling trees," and added, "When you come outside, you don't even recognize anyone because you are covered in coal dust."
He also mentioned that working at the Aoji mine continues across generations, and that forced labor is inherited by children through collective punishment. Everyone noted, "It's too much," expressing their sadness. Lee Soon-sil stated, "The location of Aoji is so cold that tears and urine can freeze. Just hearing about it makes you feel the cold," and added, "It became widely known worldwide for forced labor; it has now been renamed Eun-deok." Currently, it has been changed to Gyeongheung-gun.
