BTS member Jimin revealed that he dated actress Song Da-eun several years ago, but they have since broken up.
On the 31st, the agency Big Hit Music stated regarding the dating rumors between Jimin and Song Da-eun, "While there was a mutual interest in the past, that was several years ago and they are not currently in a relationship." Song Da-eun is an actress who gained recognition after appearing on the dating program 'Heart Signal 2' in 2018.
The dating rumors about the two began on the 27th when Song Da-eun posted a video on her TikTok account showing Jimin. The video included scenes of Song Da-eun waiting for Jimin in front of an elevator and Jimin looking surprised upon seeing Song Da-eun.
Big Hit Music revealed the couple's past relationship just four days after the rumors surfaced. It said, "We have refrained from commenting to respect the other party, but due to the emergence of various speculative reports surrounding the artist's private life and the spread of rumors that are not true, we are inevitably clarifying the minimal facts regarding the situation."
It added, "We ask that indiscriminate speculation about private lives be avoided and urge restraint from actions that could harm the other party (Song Da-eun) who is also mentioned."
