The missing Jung Il-woo has returned, firing the signal for a comeback.
In the 7th episode of the KBS 2TV weekend drama 'Our Golden Days' (directed by Kim Hyung-seok / written by So Hyun-gyeong / produced by Studio Coming Soon, Studio Bom, Monster Union), which aired at 8 p.m. on the 30th, the relationship between Ji Eun-oh (played by Jung In-sun) and Park Sung-jae (played by Yoon Hyun-min) was restored, while the struggles of the family trying to make a comeback were depicted.
In that broadcast, Sung-jae suddenly visited Eun-oh and asked, 'What do you think of me?' However, when Eun-oh was flustered, he immediately laughed it off playfully. Later, during a dinner together, he suggested that she stop online dating by saying, 'Stop it, I'll take over for you,' proposing they spend time together. Thanks to this, the relationship between the two, which had grown awkward due to Ji Ji-hyuk (played by Jung Il-woo), slowly recovered and showed signs of becoming even closer than before.
Meanwhile, Ji-hyuk, who lost his motivation for life while feeling shabby about himself, was infuriated after receiving a call from Jeong Mi-ah (played by Ko Won-hee) demanding monetary compensation for the failed marriage and ended the call, ultimately resetting his phone. After wandering aimlessly through various odd jobs, he accidentally helped a newlywed couple struggling with self-interior design. Afterward, a colleague working with him said, 'Don't dither, just give up,' but Ji-hyuk instead resolved to pull himself together and determined to make a comeback.
Lee Sang-cheol (played by Cheon Ho-jin) was worried about the missing Ji-hyuk but did not show it outwardly while he worked hard for reemployment. He submitted numerous resumes but only sighed deeply at the reality of not even being given an interview opportunity. Eventually, he decided to abandon his reemployment in the same industry, redirecting his focus to technical jobs and said, 'I can do anything that can last until I marry off all my kids,' which moved those who heard it. Upon returning home, resolved to make a comeback, he felt heartbroken seeing his father Sang-cheol exhausted from consecutive job failures, unable to enter the house.
Lee Ji-wan (played by Son Sang-yeon), who found himself in a difficult situation due to consecutive job failures, took on the role of bodyguard and driver for Sung-jae's younger sister Park Young-ra (played by Park Jeong-yeon) at his suggestion. Unlike Ji-wan, who tried to approach her in a friendly manner, Young-ra kept her distance by saying, 'I will ask my mother' to all his questions, raising suspicions. Lee Soo-bin (played by Shin Soo-hyun) also filmed a YouTube video with a 'boyfriend look' concept with Sung-jae's help. Though Sung-jae was momentarily taken aback by the shabby fitting room, he couldn't hide his sympathy for Soo-bin's passion.
Meanwhile, Eun-oh and Go Seong-hee (played by Lee Tae-ran), who met to discuss the design proposal contract, shared some mundane moments together. Eun-oh was touched by Seong-hee's serious examination of her design, and the two became closer while eating street food together. Seong-hee gently brushed the sugar off Eun-oh's lips and expressed concern for her health, creating a warm atmosphere.
Towards the end of the broadcast, in addition to signing a contract with Seong-hee, Eun-oh was unable to hide her joy when an apartment interior design request came in. Late at night, while she was happily closing the café alone, Ji-hyuk unexpectedly appeared wearing a training outfit and a cap pulled low, creating a surprise ending that left viewers eagerly anticipating the 8th episode.
