Yulhee, a former member of the group Laboum, revealed her true feelings about remarriage on the show.
On the 30th, the MBN program 'Let's Go Go' Season 5 featured Park Eun-hye, Jeong Ga-eun, and Yulhee discussing divorce, parenting, and life as a single mother.
Yulhee married Choi Min-hwan in 2018 and had a son and twin daughters, but announced her sudden divorce in December 2023, just five years after marriage. Afterward, Yulhee filed a request for mediation regarding changes to custody and child support claims against Choi Min-hwan.
In response to Hong Hyun-hee's question, "Do the kids understand divorce?" Yulhee said, "The twins are too young, so I didn't feel the need to explain. The first child asked why we live separately. That was when they were 6 years old. The first child was really quick and smart. I felt I had to explain to the first child. I told them, 'Mom and Dad still love you. I still love your dad as your mom. Dad still loves you as your mom.' We meet for a meal every birthday. It's not the end of us as parents." She continued, "The first child knows everything. They sometimes ask, 'Doesn't Mom love someone else?'"
Especially, Yulhee stated, "I first revealed that I visited a famous shaman. I waited for a year and a half. Just before the divorce, I went with my ex-husband. They foretold the divorce. At first, they asked if we had recently had a funeral. That was when my ex-husband's grandmother passed away. They said, 'You could face a minor separation, but a major separation is coming your way. If it's a minor separation, then you should be fine. But it seems you will face a major separation.' That was in July, and we divorced in September."
Additionally, that day Yulhee revealed with red eyes while talking with Park Eun-hye and Jeong Ga-eun, "Since I don't have married friends, I couldn't talk about divorce. (Seeing my sisters) suddenly got me emotional." Park Eun-hye responded, "As celebrities, I couldn't even talk to my close friends. I totally understand how hard it is to find someone to talk to."
Later, when Hong Hyun-hee asked about remarriage, Yulhee said, "My dad said, 'I don't want to see your man anymore.' He says this now, but I don't know what will happen in the future. He tells me not to make it obvious in front of him." She continued, "I'm firm on it right now. I have no thoughts on childbirth or remarriage. I think it would hurt the kids."
She also mentioned, "I think I will consider it once the kids are adults. By then, I might think about dating. Right now, it's more important to focus on my life."
