A documentary capturing the making of group CORTIS's debut album will be released.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyun, Geonho) posted the trailer for the documentary 'What We Want' on HYBE Labels' official YouTube channel on the 29th at 8 p.m. This documentary shows the production process of the debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,' which took over a year from April of last year to May of this year.
The trailer begins with vows such as, "The closest goal is debuting," and, "It doesn't seem like it's just fun and excitement. We really have to show it," alongside rehearsal scenes. The five members struggle to find "our music" by asking themselves, "How can we create lyrics and melodies that are uniquely ours?"
Though it isn't easy, the members crawled under cars to shoot scenes, and in the process, collaborated closely, showcasing the lively spirit of teenagers that evokes laughter. The video ends with the line, "I feel like we finally understand what our song is," raising curiosity for the main feature.
CORTIS is a 'young creator crew' that co-creates music and choreography videos. The documentary will reveal how the five members collaborate on their projects in detail. It showcases their incredible production skills, which are hard to believe for teenagers, their trial and error, and the strong relationships among the members. Additionally, the opening of the main feature will include a preview of the follow-up song 'FaSHioN.'
The documentary consists of a total of four parts and will be simultaneously released on HYBE Labels' official YouTube channel on Sept. 1 at 8 p.m.
CORTIS's debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,' which they worked intensely on, will be officially released on Sept. 8 at 6 p.m. They will hold their first solo event, 'CORTIS The 1st EP [COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES] RELEASE PARTY,' the same day at 8 p.m. at Korea University.
