Singer and actress Son Dam-bi has successfully lost weight back to her pre-pregnancy weight just three months after giving birth, sparking anticipation for her return to the screen as "Queen Bee."
On the 29th, Son Dam-bi uploaded a video titled "Queen Bee Returns After 3 Years, But Here Come the Tears of a Mother" on her personal YouTube channel.
That day, Son Dam-bi took on the role of the beauty program's MC, preparing for a "management day" that included massages, nail art, and costume fittings. Leaving her child with her husband Lee Gyu-hyuk, she set out to prepare her schedule and was getting ready for a transformation from "Mom Bee" to "Queen Bee."
Recently, she successfully lost weight while preparing to resume activities after three years, combining intermittent fasting with fasting aerobic exercise. She lost 13 kg just three months after giving birth and returned to her pre-pregnancy weight. Consequently, Son Dam-bi's figure also drew admiration during the costume fitting process.
Meanwhile, after finishing her schedule and returning home, Son Dam-bi showed her tears while reading a children's book to her daughter. She remarked, "I have to read to the baby, but I feel like I can't."
She explained that the children's book "We Will Always Meet Again" captures a mother's feelings while waiting for her child to be sent to school, and she was moved to tears from the first line, "Mom is waiting for you right now."
In this context, Son Dam-bi revealed, "Although my baby is still young, when Hae-i was a newborn and didn't really know anything, I couldn't leave her side while she was sleeping. Because I kept thinking, 'Is Hae-i alive?' and I would place my finger under her nose. She was sleeping soundly and nothing was wrong, but I was scared."
Additionally, she added, "Books that describe such feelings resonate with me. It's not because I'm sad. I think it would be great for those with babies to read it."
Moreover, Son Dam-bi proudly stated, "My weight has returned to (pre-pregnancy) normal levels," creating anticipation for her return to the screen as "Queen Bee."
