Actress Go Minsi has once again expressed her strong stance regarding the controversy surrounding allegations of school violence. After remaining silent for about three months since the emergence of the allegations, she has finally made her voice heard while waiting for the results of the investigation.
On the morning of the 30th, Go Minsi stated through her social media, "While waiting for the investigation results for several months, I have composed myself dozens of times a day. However, I felt it was my duty to clarify my stance for those who can no longer wait."
She continued, "I know best that I was a student who went through school without much thought. I have regretted my inadequate past and have worked hard to live a better life. However, just because my past was imperfect does not mean I should bear false accusations," she lamented.
The allegations of school violence raised in May through an online community included specific claims of physical violence, extortion, ridicule, and intimidation during middle school, stirring controversy. At the time, Go Minsi's side denied the allegations, stating they were "groundless," but those claiming to be victims have been urging her to state her position.
In response, Go Minsi asserted, "I can definitively say that I have not committed any acts of school violence. The identity of the person claiming to be a victim has not been verified, and there is no clear evidence to prove the allegations." She also warned, "I have submitted all materials to prove that I am not the perpetrator, and an investigation is currently underway. I will hold those who make false accusations legally accountable to the end."
She pointed out, "School violence is a social issue that must be strictly punished, but exploiting it to spread false information distorts the essence and hinders the resolution of the real problem." Finally, she emphasized, "I hope everyone recognizes the cruelty of an internet society where lies are asserted as facts. The truth will surely come to light."
Meanwhile, Go Minsi recently achieved a milestone with her drama "Tastefully Yours" entering the Top 10 in 53 countries on Netflix, but the allegations of school violence led to the cancellation of her ending interview and her departure from her next project. The police investigation is currently in its third month.
