The group CIX will present their new title track "I'm Curious About You," written and composed by member BX.
CIX (BX, Seunghun, Yonghee, Hyunseok) revealed the tracklist image of their eighth EP album "GO Chapter 1: GO Together" at midnight on the 30th through their official social media.
According to the tracklist, CIX's new EP "GO Chapter 1: GO Together" includes a total of four tracks: the title track "I'm Curious About You," along with "S.O.S," "UPSTANDER," and "You in My Fantasy."
In particular, leader and main rapper BX participated directly in the creation of three songs: writing and composing "I'm Curious About You," and writing for "S.O.S" and "UPSTANDER," deeply embedding CIX's unique musical style. BX previously contributed to the first studio album of CIX, "OK Prologue: Be OK," writing songs such as "Off My Mind," "20 Years Old," and "Confession." Fans are looking forward to what kind of story BX, who is credited as a lyricist for the first time, has woven into the new song.
The different song titles also hint at CIX's unique narratives. Among them, the third track "UPSTANDER" carries an opposite meaning to the second EP's track "Bystander" from "HELLO Chapter 2: Hello, Strange Place," raising further curiosity about its message.
Additionally, producers KZ, Gen.Kim Tae-young, DINT, MLC, and danke, who have collaborated with CIX on various previous works, have been responsible for each track's production, enhancing the album's overall quality.
Prior to this, the stellar story script of the EP, released on the 28th, hinted at CIX's solid storytelling, heightening the expectations of music fans. Since their debut, CIX has solidified their musical color through the "HELLO" and "OK" series, and they are expected to showcase growth and another transformation in "GO Chapter 1: GO Together."
CIX's eighth EP album "GO Chapter 1: GO Together," which will sound the horn for the "GO" series, will be released on September 8 at 6 p.m. across various online music sites.
