Seong Hyun-joo revealed the gender of her baby after becoming pregnant for the first time in over five years.
On the 29th, Seong shared a baby shower scene with her friends, presenting balloons that read, "Our long-awaited Ddan Ddan Princess. Welcome, I will love you passionately."
Seong also expressed her gratitude to her friends who hosted the baby shower, saying, "Thank you for my friends, I love you."
Earlier, on Dec. 25, 2024, Seong posted a photo of her son, the late Lee Seo-hoo, conveying her deep longing for him.
Seong wrote, "On the day Seo-hoo left my side, I had hidden a music box that sparkled brilliantly nearby, but yesterday, I bravely took it out. The music box, which I faced for the first time in four years, still sparkled brilliantly without any minor flaws." She continued, saying, "December is a month that can be quite overwhelming for me, but perhaps it's also a month when I can miss Seo-hoo without hesitation. I can't express how much I want to see him, how much I want to touch him, how much I want to hold him close." Seong left a message saying, "Seo-hoo, I hope you are safe and comfortable in a world that I don't know. I love you. Merry Christmas. Our baby."
Seong Hyun-joo's son, the late Lee Seo-hoo, passed away at the age of 5 on Christmas in 2020 after battling illness. Seong published an essay titled "Your Well-being" that compiled records of the 1,000 days spent with her son, generating attention by donating all royalties to a children's hospital.
