Actor Son Ye-jin captivated the Venice Film Festival with the movie 'No Other Choice.'
On the 29th (local time), the premiere screening of the film 'No Other Choice' (directed by Park Chan-wook, provided/distributed by CJ ENM, produced by Moho Film and CJ ENM Studios) took place at the 82nd Venice Film Festival held in Venice, Italy. 'No Other Choice' depicts the story of a company employee, Mansoo (Lee Byung-hun), who felt that he had accomplished everything but was suddenly fired. To protect his wife and two children and to keep the home he struggled to acquire, he prepares for his own war towards re-employment. Son Ye-jin plays Mansoo's wife in the film.
The film is competing in the institutional sector at the 82nd Venice Film Festival and is garnering expectations for awards. Following the premiere screening, international media have mentioned 'No Other Choice' as a strong candidate for the prestigious Golden Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival. The domestic release is set for September 24.
