Kim Dong-hyun from 'Iron Girls' was moved by the sparring match between Seol In-a and Park Joo-hyun.
On the 29th episode of the tvN program 'Iron Girls', a second full sparring match took place featuring Yui, Geum Sae-rok, Park Joo-hyun, and Seol In-a.
After completing underwater training at an outdoor swimming pool that day, the four went to a boxing gym for the second full sparring match.
Seol In-a expressed her determination, saying, "As you saw during the Jincheon sparring, I took a lot of hits. I trained hard for two weeks and definitely don't want that to happen again. I learned a big lesson."
The opponents appearing in the 'Iron Girls' competition were athletes ranging from 2 months to 11 months of experience.
Particularly, the athlete matched against Seol In-a revealed, "I learned jiu-jitsu in middle school and currently hold a blue belt. I also participate in MMA and have competed in live tournaments, having won by decision," which surprised everyone.
As the match intensified, Geum Sae-rok struggled against her opponent's footwork and reach but did not give up and continued to throw punches.
Seol In-a was no different. Although she was an athlete with many years of martial arts experience, she fiercely threw punches from the start.
Continuing to attack with the eyes of a fierce predator, Seol In-a exhibited incredible skills, repaying each hit with several strikes.
However, near the end of the match, Seol In-a appeared to stumble from her opponent's attacks.
The audience applauded the passionate match displayed by the two, with Kim Dong-hyun stating, "If this were UFC, it would have been a fight money bonus-worthy match."
The opponent also commented on Seol In-a, saying, "First of all, I was really taken aback. Her punches are so powerful that they could really ring one's bell. I always watch the opponent's eyes, and when I felt I was close, the opponent would either close their eyes or step back, but her gaze struck me harder. She's really something. While I also have a strong desire to win, I think she's even stronger."
Park Joo-hyun exhibited a competition performance that was no less impressive than Seol In-a's.
