Singer Lim Young-woong attracted 50,000 fans to a listening session ahead of the release of his second regular album 'I'm Hero 2 (IM HERO 2).'
The agency Fish Music noted on the 29th that "Lim Young-woong's listening session held at about 50 CGV theaters nationwide gathered 50,000 fans, marking the largest scale for an event before a domestic music release. " This event provided a chance to preview all the songs and music videos from the album, garnering such high interest that the server crashed as soon as reservations began.
The title track unveiled that day, "Like a Moment to Forever," is a lyrical song that conveys profound feelings about life, as expressed in the lyrics, "I want to live my short life well / I try to love freely." The accompanying music video was pre-released on YouTube the day before. The album includes a total of 11 tracks, featuring this song along with "I Will Become a Wildflower," "It's Raining," and "Don't Look Back."
Fish Music explained, "This album contains Lim Young-woong's deepened emotions and broadened musical spectrum," adding, "It will provide fans with the joy of selective listening through various charms."
In particular, this album was produced in the form of an album book containing Lim Young-woong's photos and messages instead of traditional CDs, and it will not be included in sales tally.
Lim Young-woong is expected to kick off a national tour concert starting with a performance in Incheon in October.
