tvN's new weekend drama "Typhoon Company" (directed by Lee Na-jung, written by Jang Hyun, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Imaginus, Studio PIC, and Tristudio) depicts the struggles and growth of a novice businessman "Kang Tae-poong," who becomes the president of a trading company with no employees, money, or products during the 1997 IMF crisis. Even in a bleak time that felt like the world had ended due to a crisis that struck Korea, it is expected to provide warm comfort and courage to those currently going through difficult times by showcasing the heartfelt survival stories of ordinary people who did not stop living and held on to their places.
Lee Junho takes on the role of "Kang Tae-poong," a youth from the orange tribe who conquered Apgujeong and grows into a businessman amidst the IMF crisis. Having established himself as a "trustworthy actor" with consecutive hits like "Red Sleeve Cuff" and "King the Land," he is expected to set another life character reset through "Typhoon Company," which is set in 1997, amidst intense interest in his choice of project.
