Singer Lee Hyori is opening a yoga studio in Seoul.
The agency Antenna noted on the 29th that "it is correct that Lee Hyori is opening a yoga studio."
Lee Hyori will open a yoga studio under the name 'Ananda Yoga' in Yeonhee-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, in the first week of September.
'Ananda' means joy and bliss in Sanskrit. Lee Hyori has used it as her 'yoga alias' and has shown her special affection for it to the extent of getting it tattooed.
The official social media (SNS) account for the yoga studio has also been created. According to the announcement, classes will be conducted on a reservation basis, with three hatha yoga classes held each day.
Lee Hyori's husband, singer Lee Sang-soon, followed the account, adding to the interest. The account gained more than 10,000 followers within two days of its public launch, becoming a topic of discussion.
Lee Hyori married Lee Sang-soon in 2013 and lived in Jeju Island for about 11 years. However, she organized her life in Jeju last year and moved to Pyeongchang-dong, Seoul. The opening of this yoga studio symbolizes a new beginning in Seoul.
