Actor Gong Myoung shared his thoughts on acting.
On the 29th, a video titled 'We met at a level 100 with a best friend...' was released on the YouTube channel 'Hyerin', and in the 'Hyerin's Club' segment, actor Gong Myoung appeared as a guest.
That day, Hyerin asked, 'I watched the trailer for 'Love Untangled' ahead of time. Have you done this genre before?' He replied, 'Not really. In terms of image, it feels very youthful and refreshing, but I don't think I've had something like that in my works.'
Gong Myoung said, 'I don't think I've had a true feeling of 'youth romance' like this.' Hyerin responded, 'Just looking at the teaser, it feels ticklish and really cute, and I like it.'
Hyerin asked, 'It's been 12 to 13 years since I debuted, and I think there must be some concerns about how I will act in the future and how I have acted so far.' In response, Gong Myoung asked, 'Have you changed, too? As you enter your 30s, do you think your perspective on 'what should I do' has changed?'
Hyerin revealed, 'I feel like other people say that when they are 29 or 30, they have a lot of thoughts, and it feels like a transitional period. I tried to think that way. I didn't have many thoughts, but I thought, 'Oh right, other people are struggling at this age, I have to do that too,' and that was my mindset. Looking back now, I feel like I'm actually quite similar.'
Then Gong Myoung said, 'If you think about it that way, I guess I have gone through that period. During my time in the military, I had a lot of time to think about acting.' He recalled, 'I think I told you before that once I hit my 30s, I'm going to just 'eat it all up.''
Hyerin laughed and said, 'I did! I did a lot! I was wondering why that was.' Gong Myoung replied, 'Back then, we talked about things like that. So, when I think about it now, I realized, 'I have thought that way.' I have been thinking a lot about how I should present myself as an actor, showing various characters and images. That's what I think my 30s are about. I think I'm finding my own way. I'm happy with where I am now.'
