In the third week of August, Good Data Corporation's FUNdex announced that Kim Tae-hee from "You Quiz on the Block" ranked first in the non-drama cast popularity category. It is the first time a cast member from "You Quiz" has topped the non-drama list in 31 weeks since Jang Won-young in the third week of January.
Kim Won-hoon from "Office Workers Season 2" ranked second, while Kim Jong-kook from "Running Man" secured third place. His marriage announcement within the program propelled his ranking up 148 spots compared to the previous week. Fourth place was claimed by Kwon Na-ra from "Office Workers Season 2."
Fifth place was taken by Park Do-a, who appeared in "My Kid's Private Life." It has been a long time since a cast member has ranked in the top tier after Yoon Tae-ha claimed 10th place in the third week of September 2024.
From sixth to tenth place were Kwon Eun-bi from "Omniscient Interfering View," Lee Soo-ji from "Office Workers Season 2," Lee Sang-won from "Boys Planet 2," Kim Kang-woo from "Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant," and Yoo Jae-suk from "Hangout with Yoo."
Meanwhile, the top spot in the TV-OTT non-drama popularity ranking was secured by Mnet's "Boys Planet 2." This program has maintained the number one position for six consecutive weeks.
Second place went to tvN's "You Quiz on the Block," which rose 8 spots due to the Kim Tae-hee effect. In third place was "Office Workers Season 2" from Coupang Play, gaining popularity through several shorts.
Fourth place was occupied by ENA/SBS Plus's "I Am SOLO," while fifth place went to SBS's "Running Man," which gained attention after Kim Jong-kook's marriage announcement.
In sixth place was MBC's "Hangout with Yoo," which saw a surge in attention due to the announcement of participants for the Seoul Music Awards. The programs from seventh to tenth place were MBC's "Home Alone," TVING's "The Great Escape: The Story," SBS's "My Little Old Boy," and Netflix's "I Am a Survivor."
The rankings announced by Good Data Corporation for the third week of August were based on TV non-drama and OTT original non-drama programs that aired or were scheduled to air from August 18 to August 24, 2025, including cast members and guests from each program.
The popularity survey to select the most competitive program of the week is based on an analysis of related information about programs generated from news articles, Voice of Netizen (VON), video clips and shorts, and responses from internet users. Among the collected data, materials unrelated to the program and abusive materials intended to artificially inflate popularity scores are filtered out. This process allows for a more accurate analysis of program competitiveness, with an accuracy rate of over 97%.
